Learn a Bit About Me...
First of all, I love what I do.
I am Julia Bershenyi. I have been doing energy-based bodywork since 1995. I am certified through the International Affiliation of Biodynamic Trainings and the American Polarity Therapy Association. To become certified, I completed more than 750 hours of training in both Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Polarity Therapy. Training in energy-based healing work awakened in me a sense of awe in who and what we are. It also kindled a deep appreciation for the healing power of the body.
In addition to seeing clients, I taught Introduction to Polarity Therapy at the Colorado School of Healing Arts for 16 years. I also have assisted three 50-day, professional-level training programs in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy at the Colorado School of Energy Studies.
I love teaching. In fact, I love it so much that I also offer a workshop, Embodying Your Possibilities. It is for anyone who is ready to create deliberately and with intention, whether that means making changes in their lives, finding ways to experience greater enjoyment in life as it is, or beginning a new project with confidence and enthusiasm. This workshop is a joy for me because I love sharing and playing with the concepts of deliberate creation. For more information, see Embodying Your Possibilities Workshops.
Long before I began my career in the healing arts, I received a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Colorado and worked as a technical writer and editor for 20 years.
